School Associate Director

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or equivalent (mandatory)

  • Masters (preferred)

  • 15-20 years experience


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the school's mission and vision

  • Design and deliver strategies in line with the organization’s business plans

  • Ensures policies and procedures are country-specific while maintaining alignment to the overall organizations

  • objectives

  • Oversee the financial management and budgeting of the school, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated

  • and managed

  • Collaborate with the Finance Function in developing relevant measurable performance metrics for the country, and

  • proactively track performance against the metrics to ensure fiscal control, profitability and financial feasibility in the

  • country

  • Responsible for admissions numbers and enrollment growth to forecast sales and revenue for each campus in the geography

  • Achieve set targets and Review admission numbers on a weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly basis

  • Establish the annual budget for the country

  • Review operational and manpower costs for each campus in the geography

  • Responsible for the P&L for the country

  • Approves expenses that have exceeded a certain threshold, and escalates to the Deputy COO if needed

  • Guide Principals with regards to business decisions (e.g. market intelligence and feasibility of introducing a new

  • curriculum or program, etc.)

  • Ensure statutory compliance, quality assurance and internal and external audits

  • Work closely with the Operations and Procurement teams to ensure the effectiveness of the facilities management

    Liaise with the Operations and Procurement teams to procure capital expenditure items for the campuses (e.g.

  • furniture, electronic equipment, etc.)

  • Work closely with the Corporate HR Head to make strategic manpower decisions for the geography (e.g. creation of

  • new positions, headcounts, recruitment, etc.)

  • Support the implementation of new policies and operational processes (e.g. payroll, staff welfare, induction, etc.)

  • Work closely with the Director, Digital Marketing to develop the marketing strategy and guide the brand message

  • for the geography

  • Oversee the offline marketing agencies appointed in the geography and ensures the marketing messages are

  • tailored to the specific geography

  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Finance & Accounts to develop, review and obtain approval for the country

  • budget
